I Got A Xylophone! | Gamiss Valentine's Day Outfit, Store, & Wig Review

Gamiss very kindly sent me some stuff for review after I made my Gamiss Valentine's Day Sale Wishlist, and I was allowed to pick some things from their website to try so I thought it might be fun to try out their wig selection, as well as a few other knick-knacks. They are primarily a clothing store, so I do have an outfit here (I tried it out with both wigs), but first: look at my xylophone.

It's a kids' xylophone, but I thought I would grab it for a little bit of potential musical experimentation for the short pieces I like to make for some background noise in my videos. My mum and I have already enjoyed trying to recreate Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft's 'Der Räuber und der Prinz' on it. We have fun.

I do enjoy the miscellaneous items and the home section Gamiss has, but let's move on to the wigs and outfit, shall we?

I decided to try two quite different wigs, a black curly wig and a long blonde one. I also got this sleeveless white shirt and I decided to pair it with my pink shorts and a vest for a nice, soft, romantic look. It's simple but cute, and I like how the sheer shirt adds a nice textured layer. Combining different white pieces is not something I do often, but I really like it.

I think the black wig probably goes best with this outfit. The short, bouncy curls are really cute and I probably prefer that wig overall as it feels easy to manage and has a nice shape, but I'd like to see how a trim could improve the blonde wig, as obviously whilst still unaltered the fringe is threatening to take over the entire wig. I am quite happy with both of them though.

The last couple of things I grabbed were this really fun skull spoon that caught my eye, and a beauty blender. The spoon is really satisfying to me. It feels very dramatic to remove your teabag with this. Very enjoyable.

The beauty blender is really nice and squishy so I think it could also work really well as a stress ball or sensory toy. There's a particular kind of squish to it that I'm not sure how to describe, but it's good.

☆☆☆

So that's what I got from Gamiss. It was quite a fun package to unpack, and I'm happy with the assortment of stuff I grabbed. Please bring your xylophone to my house and we can start a dodgy xylophone band right away.
