Steal Dodie's Style: 5 Adorable Dungarees/Dungaree Dresses

I'm someone who very much enjoys the songs of a certain Dodie Clark, but I also always admire her outfits when I watch her videos or look at her beautifully curated Instagram, so I thought I'd do a fun little style steal post full of the most perfect dungarees and dungaree dresses. When I was a kid I loved dungarees more than anything, even though they weren't really the most practical item. I had an amazing soft earthy green pair that I loved.

Nowadays I'm probably more into dungaree dresses, so for this post I'm going to include both options, but really this is just a post to further confirm to myself that I need to purchase a dungaree dress very soon (or several). I'm trying it out, and I think it's a kinda useful way to make a quick collection of items that you can grab super easily (I wish there were more customisation options though - not massively keen on that pale bogey green).

1. Jersey Top & Dungaree Dress - £12.99 | H&M

I've realised too late that this is for babies, but y'know what? I'm leaving it in. If you need a cute dungaree dress for your baby, this is for you. And whoever is out there designing all the beautiful baby clothes in the world: how dare you not make these in adult sizes! The pink, the pocket placement, the adorably messy polka dots paired with the dress? If you're not taking your fashion inspiration from babies, then you might be missing out.

2. Animal Dungaree Dress - £26 to £30 | Boden

This is obviously also a child's dress, but I knew that before I chose to post about it because for some reason in my mind if it's for a ten year old then I consider it basically adult. Maybe this is because I never matured past that age. It's cute though, look at that cat face! Let's move on to some actual clothes for adults, which I promise the next three things are.

3. MOTO Slim Leg Dungarees - £49.00 | Topshop

Finally, an item for adults! This blog post is saved. These are some simple black dungarees, and they look perfect. You might be amused to know that when typing 'Topshop' above I initially made the typo 'Topship' and now I'm imagining a ship which is the best ship. The top ship. Heh.

4. Corduroy Dungaree Dress With Pocket - £7.39 | SHEIN

This is a nice and simple corduroy dungaree dress which I though was really cute, and one thing I like about this is that it comes in quite a few different colour options. You can go for this orange, a nice baby pink, or perhaps a classic black.

5. Black Ripped Skinny Dungarees - £30.00 | I SAW IT FIRST

These are of course some more simple black dungarees, but these ones have a tighter fit and some ripped detailing which I quite like.
