When I saw this chick bag online, I had to get it immediately. I couldn't resist its beauty. It called to me, and I knew I had to become its mother (or super cool older sister, maybe). It's so fluffy and cute, and whilst not the most practical bag, sometimes you just need something fun to wear. You can get it from AliExpress in a few different colours, but I picked the standard chick yellow.
I got a pack of vests a while ago (I think they were from Tesco) and obviously it's far too cold at the moment to wear just a vest, but I think they're really cute and simple, and nice to wear underneath other clothes for extra warmth. I still vaguely fear sleeveless items, as if somehow the extra visibility of my upper arms makes me more vulnerable to attack, but I do think sleeveless tops are really cute (especially with super thin spaghetti straps), so I want to try wearing stuff like this a bit more.
With that, I added my trusty red skirt (H&M) and my fluffy cardigan (a gift) for a nice cosy look. I think I'd like to wear some more cutesy or novelty items in the future. I'd also really like to get some new skirts in different colours, and overall wear more light pink (such a nice colour).
such a cute look!

Deleteomg that chick purse is amazing! imagine all the spring/Easter looks you could enhance with that cutie!
ReplyDeleteHaha yessssssssssssss. I showed it to a real (adult) chicken though and she didn't like it. She just has NO sense of style.
DeleteI love this so much! How did you make the moving image?! That is so cool!
ReplyDeleteThank you! :o) I put all the pictures into my video editor and make them display for 0.1 seconds long each, then I export the video and use ezgif to turn that video file into a gif. I usually crop, rotate, and optimise the gif in ezgif as well. Super easy.
