I made these scans in daylight, and it almost confused me because I almost always make scans when it's dark enough in the room that any sunlight doesn't really impact the scans. The bright light as a background makes them look so much more open and clinical. It reminds me of a lot of 90s/00s films. The Cube series of films, and Men in Black, and the place where all the clones are made in Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones.
It's interesting to me how making darker scans somehow seems to communicate more of a closeness, and even warmth. The added stark white makes them seem so far away, in a ghost world.
